When Annie’s husband John dies from leukemia, at an early age, her close friend Chris suggests they purchase a comfortable sofa for the visitors lounge in the hospital where he was treated. She hits upon the idea of printing a calendar to raise the money, featuring some of the members of the Women's Institute posing nude. The calendar becomes an international success and raises millions for leukemia research. |
